Austin Goldenpup is an upstanding citizen of Paw-Tucket and a friend/love interest of Roxie's. He's a minor character, but he makes frequent appearances throughout Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own.

Seeing as Austin is trained for obedience, he's very athletic and exercises frequently. He especially likes playing games with friends, like Pawkey, to get his activity for the day.

Austin, who remarks that his owner looks like Paul Bunyan, is excited by the mere mention of his owner. He dreams about his human-world training, which may result in sleep-fetching.[1]

Austin is known by the other pets of Paw-Tucket to be friendly and well-behaved. Following the evidence presented in In the Steal of the Night, he turns himself in despite knowing himself innocent. Austin is hard-working and always willing to help out a friend.

Austin, given his gold-hearted nature, is a bit naive. He doesn't always catch on to what other pets around him are saying. One example of this pops up in Homesick as a Dog. Roxie is telling him a joke, but before she can finish it, she realizes she has to leave and says "Gotta go!" Austin then thinks "Gotta go" was the punchline of the joke and laughs loudly before saying, "I don't get it."

Physical Appearance

Austin has shaggy golden-tan fur with blue eyes, and an angular snout. His fur pools and droops at the lower-sides of his face. Sometimes he wears a yellow bandanna, which has white spots. His ears droop downward. His tail is white at its base, which may or may not be shown, depending on the shot of the episode.

Austin is friendly with the majority of pets in Paw-Tucket. He doesn't seem to have any enemies, and is polite to pets even if they're being rude.

Roxie and the Main Pets

Roxie has a big crush on Austin, but Austin is completely oblivious to it. He does, however, consider Roxie and the gang some of his best friends, and has been shown hanging out and playing Pawkey with them plenty of times.
